Experimenting

After a while of painting with Genesis, I came to the conclusion that they aren't the paints for me. The vinyl stunk so bad, thats the only thing I don't like about them. Until I can get an oven that I can plug out side I will be reborning with acrylics. I've been testing these out for a few days and so far so good. I have to give the credit to Jennifer from Morningside Nursery for discovering this method of painting. I have a bit more colours than she does as I mix a lot of colours in different shades to achieve the depth and skin tone of my babies. Maybe I should do a tutorial later of how I reborn, you guys look out for that in the near to mid future. I'm going to paint my Coco-Malu kit in acrylics and take a few pictures and do a WIP post of her when she comes.

Noah WIP

I've got some photos of Noah's painting. I'm not quite happy with his skin tone, it seems a bit orangey. His detailing is fine with me I actually like it a lot. I may need a few green and blue washes but for the most part his painting is done...

I added the half moons at the bottom on the nail bed and I think they look stunning.

I've put him in the body I got him and I'm not loving it very much, I might change it later. You can see the orangey-ness I was talking about in this photo.

Details! I gave him light lips as he is an older baby not a newborn. He's a big baby actually we weighs about 8 pounds!!

Textured eyelids.. I hate the lint and fuzz in his painting and I have no idea how to stop it from being in the paint. If any of you guys know how to avoid it please help me.
